I was just watching a few YouTube videos of him playing for West Ham and Israel, and then Liverpool. The lad is absolutely amazing. I'm delighted to have him on our team.

His vsion to find a sneaky way past the keeper (from any angle!) and into the back of the net is some of the best around. And the way he turns players is immense.

I'm lookin' very forward to seeing the lad rip out a lot of savage goals next season leading Liverpool to our 19th and our 6th

The improvement of Yossi in the second half of last season was brilliant and if he can take that form into this season i think he might just help us to our 19th title.

Naturally played in 'the hole' but i think it can be said that he is equally adept at right wing.

Thanks With Benayoun when he was at west ham he played a gerrard role didnt he ? He was very effective.
But when he is on the left wing he playes just as well as he does on the right.

He did indeed when he was at Betis and West Ham. Quality, wherever he plays.

If no-one is purchased in the remaining transfer window, then I think Yossi and Dirk should be our first-team wingers.  Neither are out-and-out wingers, but both provide assists, both score goals, and both are the most underrated wingers in the Premier League.

Our first 'confirmed' transfer target of the summer is someone I can't actually see ever playing for us. Unless our team are struck down with Avian flu and then he might get on the bench.

I haven't been worried until I heard this.  This isn't shaping up to be the summer I expected.

Haha actually that summer we signed Benayoun along with Torres, Babel et all there was a vote on here on who would be the best signing and I voted for Yossi.  Obviously I was wrong but I always had faith in little Yossi.

To be honest I reckon Yossi is a better player than Babel but good point on the confidence.  Perhaps a little more persistance with Babel and a run of games could see him fill the potential that so many people think he has.
