I see Brazil winning this. They have a strong midfield and Spain, with all their attacking talent, have no real rock in midfield you need in a World Cup other than Busquets. And he can't even tackle.

Crouchie, you nuts, Busquets won't even get in the Spanish first XI, centre mids for Spain Xavi and Xabi, any two of Iniesta, Mata and Silva and then Torres and Villa.

I was reading that Argentina in 1985 were 1 minute from elimination -just like now- yet won the 86 tournement. Also they played South Korea then, just like now. Finally the Maradona connection makes it uncannily similar to 1986.

Allow me to answer. David James, an accident waiting to happen and is part of the reason I don't think England will win. 

Argentina....I have them in the sweep.

Spain. They have the strongest area in every department of the pitch and have players who are more than capable of filling in should they have to. Yes Argentina have the likes of Messi and Masch but I don't rate their defence or keepers at all and can't see their defence stopping the like of Nando, Rooney, Villa, Ronaldo, Van Persie or whoever they may meet in the later rounds. Brazil are no where near the team they used to be when they were the Spain of today with the likes of Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Carlos, Cafu etc. In their side I only really rate Maicon, Lucio and Kaka as true World Class players. Italy are becoming a joke, Portugal only really have Ronaldo and Simao, Holland aren't great and Malta aren't in it so I would be putting my money on Spain.

Not to mention a fair chunk of the Spain team are Barca players so straight away their is going to be a strong understanding between some of the key players, especially Xavi and Iniesta. Villa may now be at Barca but he has understanding with Silva and Mata. On the whole they are just generally a whole lot better than what any of the other countries have to offer.

I believe the people in the townships will have a big say on who wins the world cup. MASSIVE STADIA IN THEIR COUNTRY. Stay away from the games and get back under your tin roof. We do not care if it is your country boy.

How will they have a big say? Not all people in townships are bad people. You might not care, but I do.

Got this feeling that Spain won't win it. Torres won't be fully fit and I think they will regret taking just the three strikers. Dropping Senna was a mistake IMO as well. They'll still do well but I just think they'll fail to win it this time.

If Capello drops f**king Heskey and plays Gerrard behind Rooney then England have a genuine chance this time.

Brazil will win the world cup I believe. Dunga has this team built very strong with their back 5 (though LB is a issue with them) and with Luis Fabiano spear heading the attack I think they will come out on top.

I know he wont make the XI, which was my point. There is no midfielder there to shut the opposition down.

Marcos Senna was absolutely outstanding in the Euro's and look how they played. They don't have that in the squad anymore with no Senna, and just Busquets. Not saying they should of taken Senna, but they should of taken a defensive midfielder.

They may use Pique there, and that would shut me up, but he very, very rarely plays there for them.
