Ha, fair points bud, but I guarentee he'll be taking some Internazionale players with him.

Oh yeah for sure. Question is which ones?

I'm sure he'd love to take Milito with him but can't see that happening. If I was him I'd be looking at taking Cambiasso back to Madrid and Maicon.

Just heard from my mate that Mourinho will bid 40m for Gerrard to avoid negotiating with Rafa :D

Yeah, I think Maicon is the most likely one, and possibly Cambiasso, think that's it though.

Lucio is likely, too. Quality center-back that lad.

      You're contradicting yourself.

He said he loved Inter Milan as well. He got the utmost backing from Moratti. There's no reason for him to leave but he chose to.

I think the issue with Italy was more the press and not exactly enjoying how some people treated him. He has said it a few times that he has been made to feel bad by the press, which was the reason for banning all press interaction for a while. So i think that was a big part of it.

But, i think regardless of situations at clubs he would have eventually sought a move. He seems to have that ambition to win in multiple leagues, which, fair play. I think if he conquers with Madrid, regardless of his number of trophies, he should be considered better than Fergiescum. Fergs would have taken years to achieve what Maureen has if he tried the same thing with Inter.

Still think hes a bit of an arse at times, but i can't help but respect what he has done/is doing.

The topic is so ambiguous? So is he the new manage of Real madrid, or he is deserving of this topic title because of the champions League? Surely he is not so interesting to warrant a dedicated topic to his name.

Errm, i actually think if theres any manager out there who is interesting enough to have a discussion about, it is him. If you don't like it, just stay away.

He is definitely a person who polarizes football fans. You either love him or you hate him. If he's managing your club, odds are it's the former, and if he's not...well he's just hilarious to hear speak sometimes.

Perez (Real president) just said he's the best there is and has everything they want in manager which led to a unanimous acceptance of him being Madrid manager in the boardroom.

I wonder, if he gets sacked or leaves without winning anything, who they think is worthy enough?

Surely if Mourinho fails then they are fu**ed. And when he leaves (which he will within 3 seasons) what happens next?

If Mourinho brings success, they are fu**ed afterwards in trying to replace him. If he doesn't bring success, they are fu**ed if 'the best manager in the world' can't do anything for them.

      Yes he bonds with players.

Yes he takes away the media scrutiny from them.

Yes he has won many trophies.

Yes he will only go to clubs where the transfer kitty is massive and he can spend NOT build.

Yes he will be sacked from Madrid within 2 years.

Self proclaimed "best manager ever" - NOT EVEN CLOSE.

He has a buy out clause in his deal about £16m I think I read so Madrid either pay up or F**k off.

According to the Times, Inter are so pissed off with Mourinho making them pay £17m for Quaresma who turned out to be a massive flop that if Real pay over the odds for him and Maicon (who they assume Jose wants anyway), they will forgo the £16m release clause.

      Emotional video that.

Can see him doing well at Madrid to be honest. He'll take Maicon, Lucio and Cambiasso to sort the back out and take Milito as well.
