Suarez played 90 minutes for Uruguay today against Romania. Match ended 1-1, he was quiet, and seemed out of shape

Doesn't seem to of got his match sharpness back as of yet, it will come no doubt.

Yeah. Especially since he played 120 minutes on Sunday. I'm surprised he wasn't chosen as captain if he was going to be started, as well.

sh*t first half. Neither team seems to care much, rightfully so. Sneijder and Robben still hopelessly out of form, but it's nice to see them all play again for the first time since the World Cup. Our right side doesn't look good with Kuyt and Boulahrouz. Hopefully 2nd half we'll see some fresh faces like Wijnaldum, Strootman and Ola John.

I reckon its part and parcel of feining a slight injury/ tiredness in order to avoid a pointless match. (Gerrard)

Look how many others have pulled out just prior to this game

Good box to box midfielder, very talented. Unfortunately had a slight slump of form the past few games, otherwise he would've started today.

Strootman is a hell of a player. Good box to box midfielder from what I've watched of him.

If Gerrard has been hurt, I hope Kenny has a F***ing go at Pearce and the FA for playing him in a meaningless friendly.

Bellers playing well at the start of the second half here.  Pounced on a defensive error in the box and his snap shot went just over.  Looking busy now.

      Hope Stevie is ok.
