When you think Klose is finished, he proves he's not. Amazing how this guy scores so many goals for Germany.

For a while thats what I thought all he did, score for Germany, no one else! :D

This will be my first England game so I'm really looking forward to it and I'm hoping to see some LFC players on the field!

Obviously we don't know the squad yet, but it would be great to see some of our players involved.

Johnson - Will face really competition from Walker and Richards - Still England's best Right Back in my opinion.
Kelly - The Under 21's have a game against Belgium on the same night but will Pearce promote him to the Senior team?
Gerrard - Don't need to explain why.
Henderson - Same as Kelly, can't see him getting in the side ahead of Lampard, Barry, Milner etc.
Spearing - I think Pearce should give him a go at some point, he's maturing into a fantastic Defensive Midfielder - Only if he could improve his passing in the final third! (I know people will disagree with this one but I feel he should get a 5/10 minute run out at some point.
Downing - Based on form + Young coming back from injury, I can only really see him on the bench at most.
Carroll - Again if it's based on form, I'd give him a go up there with Bent and maybe Sturridge (Depending on the formation)

Kuyt - Let hope Cole/Baines keep him quiet!

Are any of your guys going to the game?

I'm only travelling about 1 hour 30 mins so not to far for me, are any of you guys travelling to the game?

      Thanks!

This might not be the right thread, but I have no idea what would be.

Are there any people from Wales here, who know a little bit more about where their first qualification game for 2014 will be played? It's the game against Belgium. Will it probably be in the Millenium stadium or in the Cardiff city stadium?

      Thanks!

Will be an interesting game. Players like Robben and Sneijder are seriously lacking form at their clubs. Then again Huntelaar and Van Persie are doing quite well, ofcourse the question remains there who will play on 9. And there are first time call ups for the young talents Ola John and Luciano Narsingh, both tricky wingers. Hoping Ola John especially will be getting some minutes, even if he's just 19 still.

      OFFICIAL LINE UP
      England:            Hart

       Richards, Smalling, Cahill,   Baines

                  Parker(c)  Barry

      A.Johnson    Gerrard     Young

                        Welbeck

      Holland: Stekelenburg,

      Boulahrouz, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Pieters,

                Bommel, Strootman

      Kuyt          Sneijder         Robben

                         RvP

Gerrard starts but isnt captain    utterly disrespectful after him playing 2 hours on Sunday.  That being said, it will be interesting to see him play in a free attacking role as we havent really seen that from him this season.

      Kuyt also starts.

      Nice one!

Gerrard to injure Van Persie, and Kuyt to injure... the entire rest of the England team?

      Job done! :f_whistle:

If Stevie plays the full 90 mins, I'll be very angry.

I'm sure Dirk won't, but RVP can.

Emotional pre-match scenes at the Wales v Costa Rica game tonight.

Hope Bellers has a blinder, was nice to see him with his arms around Gary Speed's boys shoulders during the anthems and the minute's applause.

Suarez played 90 minutes for Uruguay today against Romania. Match ended 1-1, he was quiet, and seemed out of shape
