Hmmm. Well, Joey was onto 'Shout'. Nice one.

In trying to choose a jumpy little number that I think everyone would like, I'm gonna go with a song called "Walking To Do" by Ted Leo and The Pharmacists. If that's not possible, then I'd say anything by Big Country. "Look Away" has been going around in my head a lot lately.

Have a great night, everyone!  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

Edit: RK if you need me to send any music files your way, let me know.

      Double Edit: I'll throw ya a +, too.  8)

I just had to post this song for ye to hear. Ignore the visual.

Ted Leo and the Pharmacists - Walking to do

Tell me that a lot of these lyrics aren't just spot on!

Won't you take me where my
feet feel happy in their own time.
And the cathedral of reason lets the bells chime,
      and the lightning is fine?

I'm old enough to know that
people waiting on some big sign.
Should quit their waiting on the divine.
Divine is what's in your mind.

I've seen the cruel and hard and I've seen them hard on you.
I'll buy you brand new shoes, if you cross to my side.
There's a whole lot of walking to do.

And if we're near or far from our city by the sea-side,
Well, as long as we keep our stride,
      I believe we'll be fine.

You've seen the years roll on,
and you've seen me roll with you.
I see the road is long, so get on my side.
There's a whole lot of walking to do.

And if we stay on our feet we'll make it in our own time.
And though the road has got some steep climbs,
      I believe we'll be fine.

From your house, to my house, to the Mews,
There's a whole lot of walking to do.
      Bethnal green, to the Tube.
There's a whole lot of walking to do.
      Aoyama to Shobuya
There's a whole lot of walking to do.
Rock Creek Park, to the Ave., and on past the zoo
There's a whole lot of walking, whole lot of walking to do.

And I'm here (and I'm here) and you're here and it's true.
There's a whole lot walking to do.
And you're cool (you're cool), and I'm cool, and it's true.
There's a whole lot of walking to do.
There's no fuss (no fuss!) and I trust, I trust you.
There's a whole lot of walking to do.
And you're strong (and I'm strong) and I can be, too.
There's a whole lot of walking to do.
And you do, and I do,
There's a whole lot of walking to do.

Come Dancing - Kinks. Gonna get people on the dancefloor that, do as the song says.

And to add a bit of Scouseness to the music scene - Sense by the Lightning Seeds and no party in Liverpool is complete without Ferry Cross The Mersey.

Didn't know this charity thing was for everyone, thought it was a local thing. Just bought some raffle tickets, seems like a good cause :)

Not easy finding a decent song that's by a dutch artist. But, 'George Baker - Little Green Bag' please.

Loving the suggestions ladies and gents.

I'd just like to reiterate that you can only suggest a song if you have bought a raffle ticket or donated to the charity. If you desperately want a song played on Saturday night, then put your hands in your e-pockets you tight gets. ;)

It is indeed for everyone Dexter. Thank you very much for buying some tickets.

And a huge thank you to everyone else who has contributed to this brilliant cause. :)

Should be quite a few ladies in red on the night. Cas and Vicky might be wearing red to. ;)

Redkenny will know why I picked A Horse With No Name, just wish I could remember all the lyrics from One Night in Istanbul!!

As cheesy as it is Don't Stop Believin' just gets stuck in my head.

Couple more from the early 90s.

On the way to Istanbul in a van with no ale...

      :D

Quality that. Worth it for the 'Na na naaa, naa naa naa naaa naaa' bit alone.

Nice one to all those boss song suggestions, like CRK said though, you can only choose a song if you've bought raffle tickets, we will raise a drink or two in your honour to absent friends.

Dig deep boys and girls and spend a fiver helping out some very poorly little children,,,,,You'll certainly get the feel good factor then.
