well 50m in todays prices would get maybe Villa and one other for about 15-20m, so the answer is 2 players !

Well everyone can see that we have striker problems!!Ever since Owen left we had problems like crouch and kuyt is a good partnership but they dont score enough goals!!

tevez because he has the right attitude, silva because he's a great little player ,milito because we need another center half and Mancini because of his adaptability to play to many positions comfortably ,left and right back  left and right mid.

due to our scoring problems, i would definitely have fernando torres or david villa. too bad that diego milito has gone to juventus, as i would also have wanted him at anfield too.
i would take daniel alves to play right-back instead of steven finnan as he's more attacking and classy to watch alot like roberto carlos or cafu.
i would also take ricardo quaresma who can play right or left midfield.

dani alves my look more classy to watch but he's nowhere near as good as finnan when it comes to defending i'd choose finnan any day.

Steve Finnan is the most constant player we have, he 'gets the job done' as you say, well that's what we need in defence.
Daniel Alves is a great player, but will he be as good as Finnan at right back - I doubt it.
Yes, Alves is more attacking, but that will hamper our defence.
