I wonder if there will be any moles in the protest, i would not put it past the owners to hire people to go there and cause trouble and make it out it was the fans

      Very good point that.

As I've said a few times now, nothing would surprise me any more.

They would do anything to discredit what the supporters are doing.

Makes you wonder now about the flag burning incident!! Where they paid to do it?

To be fair, the camera crew filming the 'incident' were pretty insistent on capturing that image. Even though the lad was busy tying it to the fence outside the Kop when they were egging him on. :-\

Thats what happens Joey, happened all the time during the 80s when England fans were supposed to have rioted and were basically being egged on by cameramen and journo's desperate for a story of footie hooliganism.

Apart from taking apart their arguments piece by pathetic piece and embarrassing them into going into detail, which they struggle with, the other choice is to totally ignore them.

It is hard sometimes though when what you really want to do is hurt em'.

Reminded me of the May Day riots when RBS was smashed in by one guy who had about 100+ media people around him, more than the actual march people. Was one of the first questions that my team asked when planning the filming on Sunday, will anyone burn any Amercian flags..shall we take one ? (by the way no such thing will ever make it into my films nor would I include anything that would harm the clubs reputation) I only say this to show, yes its very easy to do and if you have an agenda........tis v.simple to manipulate the press.

yeah when I watched that video it was v.stupid, more cameras, looked v.staged, v.peer pressured, like a happy slap video. Pick the dummest kid, make him do somehting and film it (not saying the kid in the vid was the dumbest)

Yeah it should be good on Sunday, look your best !! I'm not sure if I can make it yet, will decide tomorrow. I have to be honest I was hoping it was a march and I have to shell out for the costs so its about £100+ just for the train...but I wanna come anyway.

Am absolutely F***ing tamping! My so called brother-in-law was supposed to cover my shift at Alexandra Palace this morning, just got a text from him saying he can't make it so i have to go in. Just rang him back straightaway and he's knocked his phone off, w**ker! Asks me for work as he's skint and then throws the shift, i'll kill the w**ker when i get home tonight. Last favour i ever do him! Am absolutely fuming, the work van is packed and ready to go as well! Anyway, good luck everyone and sing a song for me.

Do yourself a favour, don,t attend.this is not a reason for you to make money or prestige,it's about the future of our club.If the likes of you attend I won't be combing my hair,I will not be there.Hillsborough attracted the same sort of media sh*te,but when the Dockers and Miners needed media support, your'e contempories were anonymous. So should you be on this one.

In all honesty Roy, I'm welcoming this lad's attendance. The trailer for his documentary regarding our current ownership situation is looking very good. I don't think he's 'one of them' either mate.

From what I've seen up to now, that film is going to be an eye opener to the people who are too blind to see what is going on at our club.

Images of a good turn out tomorrow would be good footage. Although if it is going to be the total 'SOS Open Day' people fear it has become, then the numbers will count for f**k all mate.

I'm not attending as its been far too commercialised by SOS when it was supposed to be a fans protest not an SOS open/recruitment day.

Its all too much like my favourite house tune being turned into a cheesy pop tune, I wouldn't buy it as I liked the original idea so much.

Just seen it on Granada news there.

Couldn't believe the amount of people with their new shirts on.

I know, Let's protest against the yanks, but I'll wear the shirt I've just paid them £40 for.

Wasn't half like I was expecting, it wasn't a drive for SOS and the credit union in the way I imagined. I thought every single speech would be pushing the SOS membership but with the exception of one speech, it wasn't like that at all.

Neil Fitzmaurice and John Bishop were quality especially Bishop taking the piss out of the lads who were calling him a wool and the musicians were boss.

Don't think the message got across in as good a manner as it could of but it was alright. Fans did themselves proud, especially when singing Fields of Anfield Road with John Power and Peter Hooton on stage. F***ing rocking, then You'll Never Walk Alone came on and everybody just belted it out.

Sounds like it went better than expected DLS, fair play to all the fans that turned up for the demo.
