      "Letters From America."
This was the name of a programme narrated by Alistair Cooke.
A sometimes fascinating insight into the American Way.

I am trawling a number of US press sources where you will find that there is a mirror hatred of Hicks over there as there is over here.

Hows this one for starters. Read some of the bloggers at the bottom of the page.
Our kindred American cousins with the same HICKS HATRED.

I remember Hicks saying he wanted his family to own the team long after he was gone. Just proves what a liar he is. He was only in it for the money.

Posted by Tom Hicks Sucks @ 11:56 AM on Mon., May 3, 2010

Tom Hicks is completely and utterly worthless. He is a laughing stock among other owners. The sooner he departs, the sooner progress can be attained.

There is also what we dont get to see.
The US version of Hicks bullshit about LFC and how he picked the club up on the cheap!
Moores please note. Parry please note.
      More of that later.

      THE MARCH

The most important thing that anyone can do that cannot physically be on the march, is, to magnify it.
No not just the Liverpool Echo.
The UK national newspapers. TV. Radio.
Across the pond on local (Dallas/Texas) and full network media.
      Into Europe as well.

Anyone got the experience of doing Press Releases?
      Lets crank it right up.

I've just suggested in another thread and also to SOS that we should try to get together with some Stars and Rangers fans and try to have a similar march in Hicks hometown.  That's bound to get media coverage in the States on such a prestigious day.

I agree with you mate - we have to crank this campaign up.

      Boss idea that Debs.

It's been mentioned that what we do over here does f**k all to them. If it was on their doorstep then it would certainly open people's eyes.

I sincerely hope they take the suggestion on board.

Great idea. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, but can several people make sure they video the march as they march along. The videos can be put on youtube and maybe even sent to Hicks and Gillett.

The link is of course Hicks.
We are one of his three sports franchises (Ugh) Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers.
This will be f***ng better than Live Aid!!

Anyone want to do a Phil Collins and march on both?

I think more pressure should be put on Gillette he is been left in the background keeping quiet keeping his head down, he is a weasel and wants people to like him.

I think if we want to get them 2 out he is the weak link because Hicks is just delusional.

I emailed SOS about this march but they say they don't know who is organising the event but will offer support.

This is crazy - we need a co-ordinated effort not bits and bats here and there.
