      Ok I've got it.

The winner will be the team who's FA logo has red, blue and white on it.

      Checkmate.

      England will have em. Easy.

They better anyways. Couldn't stand being in America if they win, everyone will over-react and suddenly all of them will be 'soccer' fans. Eck.

      Good stuff.  Haven't started yet.

Hoping to have a 2 up advantage before kick off though.

Anyway, just placed my bets for the game.  Some a bit silly.  Gone for John Terry first goal, 2-0 and 2-1 at half time and 3-0 and 3-1 at full time.

If I get them wrong and shrek scores in the game I get my money back so makes it a little bit more interesting.

USA: Howard, Cherundolo, DeMerit, Onyewu, Bocanegra, Donovan, Bradley, Clark, Dempsey, Altidore, Findley.

Dont like Findlay starting , Buddle should start , he's been on fire latley
      Onyewu's fittness is important

Well, been waiting for this since the draw came out...

Good luck my English mates, no matter the result I think we'll both get through anyways.

I wouldn't of started either of Buddle or Findley. Would of played Dempsey behind Jozy, and Donovan on the left, Holden on the right.

I'd rather Edu be paired with Bradley, and not Clark.

But hey, it's Coach Bradley, he's a dope.

      Get in there USA.

      Well.  Here it is boys...

I've waited years for this match. I honestly think this is going to be a great match and any team can win.

I think England is favored but the US has a potent offense.  They scored 44 goals in the qualifiers which is the most for any of the WC teams.  They can score. Their issue is stopping the England attack. If the US can pressure the English forwards we can win the match.  We can score on any team, its just our defense that worries me. We also need to protect and guard the set pieces.  We had some issues on corners.

Altidore and Onyewu are starting too. Hopefully their both 100%. We need them.

US have not kept a clean sheet for 10 games, and as Yank says, they also score a lot. Gonna be interesting, I guess.

Yeah agreed...We can score on any team.  Thats not the Issue. Our problem is giving up goals and not playing solid defense.

If the Defense can pick it up, keep the pressure on the English forwards and man up on the set pieces, then we can win. Howard is a great goalie and we need that but a goalie can only do so much.  If our backs take a sh*t and let England inside, its going to be a long day.
