What I don't understand is why fans would protest against GOOD and POSITIVE changes for the club...

      Some people are never happy.

You've got it wrong. As have quite a few in this thread.

This is not a protest to keep Rafa, it is a protest against the owners. The owners are not good or positive in any way for our club. The opening post states quite clearly that this is not about Rafa.

I stand corrected then.  In which case, I'm happy for the protest to go on.

However - no doubt a lot of fans will turn the protest into a 'keep Rafa' one.

I'm sure they will mate. And it's no coincidence that it's today that the protest is going ahead, today being the day that it looks certain Rafa will be leaving. But, hopefully the message will remain to the point about the owners.

People will protest the changes because they know the consequences of the owners actions. It frees them up to offload players and will once again have destructive effects for the club and its infrastructure. Although most of the Rafa out brigade will ignore that

Will be interesting to see how this pans out. I'm all for support of the team, the manager, the history of the club, but I hope this 'protest' doesn't result in more bad press. If too few turn out - we're a laughing stock. Too many - we're hooligans. You've got to understand that this kind of action will lumber us with the Yanks for longer - no one wants to but a trouble club. Let's leave the Mancs to their dirty protests and show some Anfield pride.

whilst i see your point, i think voices need to be heard, united are up to their necks in sh*t, but they never get any bad press, whilst we do... wonder which paper thats down to?

      Bollocks

F**k pride right now, doing nothing will just let the two owners drag us further and further into the sh*t, maybe we should be aiming the protests at shithouse Purslow now as well as those two fuckers.

It should be, this is needed, and if not working a couple of hundreds of miles away at 1800, I'd be there.  This is purely a display against the owners.

Let's go and show them the dirty owners see and the world understand that our LFC is not just a toy of any F***ing bas**rds who just have money to buy it.
Of course we know we are just a fans having just full of love and loyal to our sacred club but at least just let the world know that we are exist and any money f**ker who think to take over LFC just to make them profit without any love and faith to our sacred institute they for sure to facing with something we showing now.

Good luck for you all brothers.

      Sorry for my poor English.
