im not so sure, who could step in? degen is perma-crocked and the youngsters dont have enough experience to go straight in for a full season, and i just dont rate carra as a full back.

Watching last nights performance, wouldn't be a loss. Belhadj looks a better player, plenty of passion from him, would be a decent left back for us?

If Rafa wants to sign our players then so be it. If he feels that our players is top on his wishlist at Inter then he has a right to feel that way. I think as a manager he will have to put his job before sentiment.

Somone saying Belhadj is a better player well Belhadj has been fairly ordinary in the Premiership so your obviously going on one game if that is the case everyone of Algeria midfield is better than Gerrard. Also which is a massive factor Belhadj is a left back Johnson is right back.

I read somewhere that Rafa is chasing Van Der Wiel for the right back position, though many clubs are.
