I never said it had to do with Liverpool FC. The thread is a football discussion about him. Not you, not me, not any of us, not even the club. Just him.

I don't meet or see any blues, not even when I'm in Liverpool, so what they sound like is of no relevance to me. But when you're responsible for winning the league, you either win it, or expect criticism whether you want it or not. In this thread I hold him accountable for his record. If people don't like it, then he has the power to shut me up and reel off a few proper titles every year like world class coaches routinely do, instead of needlessly putting himself in volatile situations with trigger happy owners, and then wondering why he gets sacked.

He was 3-0 down at the mancs last weekend in half an hour, which apparantly didn't go down well. He's a fish out of water over there, and only a matter of time before the boos begin and he's looking for another job.

Houllier was more than willing to carry on doing the job, and went on to work at other clubs. You can say it any way you want but he was sacked because finishing fourth at the time, thirty points behind the leaders meant things had to change. Just as finishing 7th after 6 years in charge also meant things had to change.

Rafa has the Bitters playing some good footie at the moment.  If they keep this up then the derby will be electric!!  Be nice to finally have some decent competition in that match....   :lmao:

Employed one of the best coaches in the world in ancelotti,  he couldn't wait to get out. Perhaps the coach isn't the biggest problem.  Let the fans delude themselves otherwise. https://t.co/nArQ6VGv0l

I think Rafa is on the edge there now. The 'supporters' are the biggest issue at that dump of a club. I bet those players took the usual abuse at full time from the travelling bitters, sorry 'supporters' .

No manager or player in the right mind would want to pitch up at that miserable bitter entity unless its to laugh whilst making 11.5m a year

Embarrassed himself here Rafa he has. Took on a job knowing he was going to be up against it from the get go fully aware of the state and condition of the squad and club. In the process tainting his legacy with a club who’s fans loved, fought for and adored him. Was it delusion, arrogance or another job to line the pockets? Zero sympathy from me I think he’s finished as a top manager, he could have gone out in a better way.

However I do think hes finished as a top class manager

Think the time has come for Rafa to call it a day. He’s obviously not got the modern day football tactics/ approach  of the likes of Klopp & Pep. Not idea going out this way but he’s never getting a top side again.

I think the 2or £3million may soften the blow.

He should do what Ole did and donate it to charities of sort. He doesn’t need the money.
