keeping an eyeout to see if Rafa puts his house up for sale its quite some place. Knowing the fortunes of other RM managers i think he might leave it until the new year. I think its in the £9mil range if anyone is interested

      £9M?

      The flash f**ker.

      Quote from GeorgeRed
How you rate Messi's goals at the WC then ? Or against Real in UCL.

Fair enough, he scored against the greats of Bosnia and Iran. When he faced the world beaters of Holland and Germany, he was anoymous and contributed nothing. Best player ever? Most questioned the decision to give him player of the tournament. But maybe they're all mad too.

His goals against Real Madrid in the example above, were scored against 10 men. That rather significant detail can't be forgotten.

      Quote from ayrton77
Messi "literally" scores many goals by walking the ball into the net without being challenged?

Some stat said last week, that all bar 2 of Barcelona goals in the European Cup this year were from inside the box, so it's clear there was a fair amount of tap ins along the way.

When the Spanish government get him done over his tax evasion, that will be his career effectively over.

I've seen him score many goals where he literally walks the ball into the net without any challenge offered, let alone win the ball. Others he has time to pick his spot in 5-10 yards of wide open space. Now if everyone could do that, games would finish 15-15 every week. But we live in a world of man marking, strong challenges, fouls, penalties, and red cards, as defences do everything to keep the ball out.

But he has destroyed 5,6,7+ players from his own half and then done the keeper by a chip or taking it round him.

You are aware he has scored 21 goals against Madrid right? Oh but wait, Madrid must have had less players every time he scored them goals.

So what if he scored tap ins? Would you begrudge our players from scoring tap ins?! Would you F**k so don't even try that one.

You have got to be looking for reactions surely because it's nonsense you talk.

As for the topic now, maybe we should launch a few bids for a few of Madrid's players, maybe Rafa can sell us a bit of quality.

      From the mirror:

When Robbie Fowler was over for the legends game he tweeted Rafa...

“Rafa, I’m at your new training ground. I’m just having my medical now!”

      Rafa's response?

“You don’t need a medical Robbie. You need a miracle!”

I've read there is already turmoil in the Real Madrid's dressing room with the majority of players not approving Perez's sacking of Ancelotti and hiring Rafa in his place.

I don't think Rafa made a good choice joining that mad-house.

Once again my point is proven on the influence money now has on the game. Luis Enrique replicates the feat of the mercurial Guardiola, the treble in his first season. Barcelona are producing wonder teams and managers? Pellegrini ? Mancini ? Allegri ? They move to financially doped squads and win. So why do people rate Ancellotti and Mourinho? Answer. Because they have won everywhere, why ? Because they have been in charge of super teams who bought trophies.

You know there are numerous reports saying that Berlusconi decided Ancelotti's starting lineup when he managed Milan, famously demanding Inzaghi to start the final against us which proved to be a good decision.

Also Abramovich made the same thing at Chelsea.

That's why i said i didn't rate Ancelotti so much as others do. He won just 3 titles in over 20 years of management if i'm not mistaken. One with PSG which doesn't counts in my opinion, because with their transfers, almost everyone could have won the league, the FFP wasn't in place and all other teams were struggling financially, while they spent tens of millions on new players. Even Woy would have won it there.

I think there are alot of other better managers than Ancelotti, i'll always say that, Rafa is much better than him in my opinion.

It is expected from them, remember, they refused to sign Ronaldinho because they deemed him ugly, and refused to sign Chivu because in spanish it meant goat or something like that.
