      Shirt sponsors.....question
      Jun 19, 2007 07:59:15 pm
Appologies for raising this matter again and it was featured on a previous thread but.......

Did we ever secure a new sponsor?

I remember that Carlsberg were interested in re-signing and we were all speculating on a 'mega deal' with somebody but I can't remember if we ever agreed a deal with Carlsberg?

Was the deal significant or just another Parry 'make do'?

Sorry for bringing this up again, maybe it is my age catching up with me! (33 honest)

       ???

Not sure if that is true.  Think that only applies to deals made from this September onwards.

Carlsberg made an improved offer but Liverpool steadfastly refused to make it a 5 year deal like Carlsberg wanted and made it for another 3 years. This was so that Liverpool could enter a new stadium free of previous sponsorship deals.

Any news on euro shirt sponsor? is it Carlsberg or Liverpool08 City of Culture? The reason I ask was there was a pic on another post with the euro shirt with the 08 logo on it?
