Maybe I'm being a bit naive here but wouldn't there be a problem with copywright issues?
      4 stripes
      Totally different collar
      Different logo in the centre
      Liverbird instead of club crest
5 stars instead of Adidas logo

Not sure anyone could say much really.

That's what I'm thinking too mate.

In which case, it may be better to lose the Adidas-style stripes and the reference to Standard Chartered.

I still think just as many people would buy if say it were a plain-ish t-shirt with the 'Save LFC' patch on.

4 stripes and 'Standards Corrupted' do not infringmement make. Leave it as is. Its spot on.

I think they have made sure not to get caught up in a copyright row.
Currenty they have a poll running to determine orders for the right sizes so they can get the best deal available.
Maybe one of our mods can get in touch to update them on our totals too.
Reds need to unite on this one.

I don't understand what is meant by 'Standards Corrupted'?

Maybe overlooking things here but we don't want to lose a relationship with a sponsor that's giving us a brilliant amount of money.

I think it means that the traditional LFC Standard way od doing things and the LFC ethos have been corrupted by two money grabbin snakes.

But that's what I'm saying - why do we want to upset our sponsors?

IMO - it shouldn't have reference to Standard Chartered. Just the owners.

The harder it makes it for Tom & George, the better.

We better pray that it pisses the sponsors off, so they can start threatening our owners. Crank up the pressure on all fronts!

It affects the owners because the sponsors would pull out if they dont get the issue sorted.

Its a very good move,it would cause unrest in the boardroom.

The sponsors are stuck with us for the next 4 years regardless. The reference is to the club and the owners, hence the 2 snakes logo.

A brilliant amount of money we don't want the owners pocketing.

For fear of stickin my nose in where it doesn't belong it might be an idea to stick a small amount on top to make a donation to the HJC or a Charity just to show all interested parties that there's no greed involved. Unlike a couple of people we all know. Nose withdrawn.

      Look stop worrying.

This is a genuine protest that all our fans around the world can join in.

There is no copyright infringement and even if there was so what? Adidas and Standard Chartered are not stupid enough to risk the catastrophic publicity that would arise if they took action against a fans coalition.

Definitely. Plus, no one actually knows how much it is now so adding an extra £2, for example, wouldn't change anyones perception?

Add that to the list when you talk to RAWK.

Don't know about Standard Chartered, but I guess you're right.

And Liverpool as a city probably keeps Adidas in business on trainee purchases alone, so they'll want to keep us all sweet. :D
