As much as I thought we didn't have a chance against the Germans, I didn't see that scoreline coming.  :'(

Germany started that match as 14/1 to win the World Cup. They're now 9/1.

Dont forget your bluesh!te player got a straight red :)

Shouldn't even have been a yellow, that. Never mind a red!

F**k me people hammer Johnson for not been able to defend Lahm makes Johnson look like Bobby Moore. I've seen Lahm skinned on numerous occasions and you will see it again in this World Cup. He is brilliant going forward though.

Unconfirmed reports of trouble outside the Stadium, tonight. Explosion and gun shots apparently. Although there's nothing in the news yet.

Yep, that's where I seen it.

South Africa has done themselves proud with the World Cup by the looks of it so far. Hope it's not ruined by trouble.

:D Did Lahm even have to make a tackle all game? I don't think he did. He did block a dead certain goal by Garcia after a couple minutes and that's all he had to do.

The Aussies were very disappointing. Pim fu**ed up. I thought Kennedy had to start. If you intend to play on the counter after sitting so deep you need someone to hold it up and create space for others and Kennedy does that brilliantly. No Kewell either was odd. Was game over at 2-0 to could of given him game time.

Not all is lost though. Beat Ghana and it could be a 3 way tie for second once the games are finished. A draw against Serbia will be a good result and leave their destiny in their own hands going in to the Ghana game.

And in all honesty, it should of been worse. Had Germany played with two up top and pushed Ozil out left they would of scored 10. All 4 goals came from putting the ball in to the box from wide areas. Podolski and Klose would of had 4 each.

It was so disappointing to see Australia defend like that. What pissed me off most was the overuse of the offside trap. It was clearly not working, but they didn't stop trying it. We need to get our act together for Ghana and Serbia. I still think we'll get through.

Germany = No supposed world class individuals.

That was the best performance of the WC so far. Even with Aus having 11 on the field I think the result would have been the same.

They oozed confidence, had a clear way of playing with good movement and passing.

Thats what coaching does for you.

No long balls humped up to their forwards, just nice crisp passing with players running into space and working for each other.

      Well played.

Think for a straight red it is actually meant to be two right? But FIFA have reduced it to one due to it being a sh*t decision.

Germany were great, didn't just look it.
