How did RVP get man of the match?

      He was terrible.

Thought that myself. He played rubbish.

No one has really stood out mind you.

Our keeper Stekelenburg did a good job, some nice saves and kicks. Pretty solid keeper.

Agger has done well to say the least.
I would probably MOM to Elia, he only just came on and changed the game and nearly scored.

      Agger saying to kuyt

" Shame you couldn't do that earlier in the season then "

      Nice shirt swap too.

Affelay almost ruined my prediction there, haha.

Haha! Same. Finally got it right.

I think the Liverpool lads have all done well. Agger, Gerrard, Johnson, Carragher and Kuyt. Babel and Kyrgiakos didn't play and I really, really did not notice Jovanovic.

Kuyt did really well, IMO. No poor touches and even a back heel!

I think the Dutch can be happy with that result. A winning start is vital.

Certainly not a good game, but I'm happy with the result. Think the thing to take from this game is that Elia has to start next time(and hopefully Robben).
Not starting off great might be a blessing in disguise. I know our first games at Euro 2008 put alot of pressure on the team back then for becoming one of the favourites and what not, quite sure that won't be the case this time :P

RVP got MOTM?! What a load of sh*t. Kuyt deserved it more than him, or both the subs who did more in the last 20 minutes than RVP in the whole match.

Solid from the dutch, nothing special but it was solid. Kuyt was good, enjoyed watching him.

Agger and Kuyt exchange shirts as well, how sweet :D

Great win form the Dutch the Danish defence , gave them a hard time . Sorry Agger , you're still incredibly and ridiculously hot though . I don't know why but I got this happy feeling inside of me when Kuyt and Agger switched shirts , unfortunately Agger was wearing an undershrit ;D . That Elia ( ?) boy was very good he made a great impact when he came on , he worked very well and made some good chances , including Dirk's goal . If anyone could , I'd like to see this pic of Agger and Kuyt swapping shirts . It was cool how  Kuyt ran to Agger as soon as the final whistle blew .

Yeah, Holland's always been known for their pacey wingers, haven't they?

Elia looks like a really exciting player, IMO. The game changed since he came on.

Weird that RvP got man of the match. No doubt he is a good player but he was kinda off form in that match. Think Kuyt and Elia stood out.

My motm was De Jong. Thought he was great.

Solid win without being spectacular. Good start.

Van der wiel and Elija were great too.

      And get in there Dirk!

De Jong should've been send off though with that two legged charge. That's the risk with him, he's a pitbull but sometimes goes too far.

I didn't think RVP deserved MOTM , I thought it would've been Kuyt . Elia did more in 20 mins than RVP did in 60 .

Worse challenge than Cahill's and he saw red.

      Good result for Holland.

Solid, yet unspectacular. They'll definitely get stronger as the tournament progresses though.

The only ones who have truly looked world-beaters so far is Germany though, to be fair. I'm sure that will change with Brazil and Spain though.

Elia really made a world of difference when he came in on the left side, was more of a factor that Van Der Vaart who did little all game. Kuyt had a typical game where worked hard, made some chance and then popped up with a easy tap in for the 2nd goal.

It went down as a Simon Poulsen own goal , it just brushed off of Agger to go into the goal .
