That was a pretty sh*t first half from England.

I'd make changes at this point. Even if it's just the one - Heskey off, Gerrard behind Rooney and J. Cole on the left.

I know what you mean. Right now, Heskey is only an excuse to play long balls when they have no idea what else to do. And it's Heskey, ffs! Crouch would do a better job than him, probably.

Why treat your captain like a squad player?  Did you see how he fired up last week playing in his preferred role?  Capello needs to give his players clear and concise orders/instructions and drop players who go missing.  Why do you think Rooney works well at ManUre, because Fergie has the shrek on a leash and tells him exactly how it's going to go down.  They treat him like Princess Fiona in the England team (the media plays it's part in this too), how ANYONE could think that Rooney is better than Torres is beyond me.  Did you see the way he[Torres] breathed new life into his team just by coming on, despite how rusty he looked?
