I have heard that preston north ends goal keeper: carlo nash is supposed to be outstanding and a LOT better than Robert Green What do you think? he has a record of conceeding 40 goals in 53 games and he set a club record of 24 clean sheets with Preston North End during the 2005-06 season.Preston conceded fewer goals than champions Reading.  he has played for middlesbrough and man city!

The only problem is Carlo used to be a blue-nose. :?  Seriously, he's a decent keeper, dont think he'd like to be a reserve team player though.

The first game I saw was Everton v Liverpool at goodison, I was a blue because my neighbour was the brother of Everton's Billy Wright and we used to get ticket's from him, unfortunately we lost the game 6-0, at least I was never under any illusions from the start about what life as an Everton fan is like.  Carlo Nash

No point in having a goalie who's good but made of glass!

Nash's stats might be great but he's never played at world level so who knows how he would cope but yes give the lad a go might do great and then we've got another top class keeper as backup.

not fussed on Green he never looks comfortable.I haven't seen much of Nash so don't know.Carson is still too inexperienced for top level football and the pressure could be too much.James is my worst nightmare(still can't get over him costing us the Prem.)
I hate to say it but we don't have the strength in depth at international level and I think the best English goalie may just be Nigel Martyn je is consistent and has played at this level before(it breaks my heart to say this)
