Probably another one of the "bigger" matches alongside England-Germany.
Portugal, I never thought they were an extremely good football team but they do have some dangerous players like Simao, Tiago and Ronaldo. However, Ronaldo has been really poor this tournament, IMO. Yeah, one goal, a few assists and some shots that rattled the bar/posts, but nothing else. And for a captain, he surely has a disgusting attitude.
On the other hand, Spain, one of the favourites with an abundance of quality, haven't exactly hit their top gear. They haven't played sh*te either. David Villa has been doing the scoring for them. Hopefully, Fernando Torres opens his account. People tend to forget he's just returned from a knee injury and just because he is Fernando Torres, they expect alot from him.
Obviously, I want
la furia roja to go to the quarter-finals where they will meet Japan/Paraguay but they really need to keep to their gameplay of frustrating opponents and go on to win the game (and hopefully the tournament
).
