      Top Four.

I really want Roy to start playing Babel up front with Torres

Because Babel hasn't got the brain to play up top, he's better at playing behind a front striker and his distribution needs to improve as well.

If Nando stays he needs a decent partner or backup as well

Pains me to say, but I thinking crashing out of all cups as soon as possible so we can focus getting back into the Top 4. Unless the clowns piss off, without CL £ we might not be around.

If I can dream, New LB, New CB, Two proper Wingers, J.Cole would be a good start and a proper striker, perhaps Hulk or Cardoza to support Torres.

Top 6/7 finish. A good run in 1 of the cups with maybe the league cup in the cabinet to keep up the record of every manager since Shanks winning a trophy. Week in week out the players givingthere all on the pitch no matter whats happenning off it

I have no expectations at the moment as I feel weve had to lower them with Roy's appointment, so I'm going to see how he beds in and then after ten games see where we are at then get an idea.

I think we'll really struggle to get a top 4 finish, but hopefully the players will show more pride in the jersey and put up more of a fight than last season.

I would love to see us winning the Europa League, FA cup and make a good stab at the Premier league.

Have we really slumped so low to just expect a top 8 finish or maybe a good cup run, FF'S, We are not that bad, Yeah we had a sh*t time throughout last season but thats down mainly not having our top players playing together for a sustained period of time and therefore no consistency, Rafa playing the two holding defensive midfielders, Not having the ability to pass from midfield, Players out of position, playing one up front, even at home, not having the back up players needed to fill in specialised positions, a lacklustre bench and very low in confidence, Heart and passion, All that combined was why we fell from grace, There is just no way are we going to have a season like that again, We have new ambition, a new manager with his own fresh ideas, Probably a different approach on how we play and plenty of other ideas and endeavour, The slate will be wiped clean as far as the new gaffer is concerned, a better understanding between manager and players, and where Rafa was lacking was the arm around the shoulder approach, Roy is the type of man to get the best out of his players by doing that very thing, There is too much negativity going on in this forum IMO, I am very optimistic and believe we have a great chanc e of at least a top 4 slot and back in the CL where we belong, SIMPLES!!

91%+ of Premiership titles have gone to the club that has paid the 1st or 2nd highest wages that season.  Money Talks.
Mind you, I doubt if you double all our players wages so we paid the most, that we'd win it at present.

I'm think more along the lines of Chelsea, the Mancs, Barca, Inter...

So Leeds paying way over the odd wages and winning F**k all, or maybe City doing the same, or maybe Portsmouth which is why they've almost gone bust, or Hull another side facing financial break down because they spent big wages on sh*t players.

Chelsea spending a British transfer record on Shevchenko yet ending up with one of the worst players ever to grace the division, same with Veron, Crespo, Mutu, Kezman. Have as much money in the world, spend massively on wages makes no F***ing odds if you have sh*t players. Those who win the League, deserve it not because they spent the most or paid the highest wages.

I'm think more along the lines of Chelsea, the Mancs, Barca, Inter...

So money talks when it suits you, but when clubs who constantly spend big and get F**k all for their money then it doesn't matter. Right.

Keep team morale up and win a few games!

Not lose Gerrard or Torres, sign Hegian and Van Da Vart

Finish in the top 5? (come on Man C have cash, and we kinda don't, atm)

Not to lose too many players, and for Roy to freshen things up on the left.

Perhaps goto 3 at the back play Johnson wide right as a wing back.

Finish in top 4 at least, and a Good Europa run.
