I'm not confident with Kuyt just on his own up top. He did much, much better when he had Suarez against United and when Carroll came on last week.

Can't wait for this to start.

Hope that Carroll and Kuyt start upfront. But I would like to see Pacheco, Carroll and Kuyt upfront even more. Doubt that it will happen, though.

Why do I think they will try for the early goal then park the bus.
Don't think this is going to be easy for a minute. They are well organised.

Ill be happy for two in it.

      2-0.

Tonight not only do I wanna see us play great football, and obviously win it, but I hope that Carroll will start so we can finally see him in a proper way, have a nice glimpse on whats it gonna be like with him up front in the future.

Braga cancelled their league game for this. They also have their captain back. This is going to be a tough fight. They will be 100 per cent focused on this. Must be a huge game for them

Would love to see the Reds overturn the one goal deficit and go on to the next round. I am just worried that Braga score a killer goal and knock us out on the away goals.

We are due to give some team a tanking and Braga, for all their bluster (and as bad as we were), didn't impress me. This could be the time to hand out a tanking.

      'Mon the Reds.

I'm kinda confused when this kicks off can someone just tell me how long till it starts. I always to miss the first half of the game because I get the time difference wrong.
I'm slightly annoyed with kick off times changing too.

Come in wondering whether it's 6 or 8 each match now.

Was talking to the wife about this subject yesterday, IMO its all to do with money and the greed of the various Football associations and TV Channels, they alternate the KO times in the E.L. so the matches are shown live without clashing with one another so if we KO at 6 in the first leg its 8 in the second and vice versa !
Regarding the CL matches, 4 used to be shown on a Tuesday and 4 on a Wednesday with a 2 week gap, as I can remember Sly Sports offering you a multi channel choice each night, now they have 2 matches on Tues and 2 on a Weds EACH week now instead of a gap of 2 weeks !

Well at least we can't play as badly as we did in the first leg , please God. Feel really nervous for this one , hate 2nd legs at home when it's close 'cos of the away goal rule !
Keeping everything crossed the Redmen do it tonight. A trip to Dublin sounds very appealing.

      C'mon the Reds. :kop5cf8koxp6::scarf: :kop5cf8koxp6:

we have to score 2 goals and keep a clean sheet to win average home score 1.7  so this is a tall order. they will park the bus no doubt so looks like a borefest coming up.

You're absolutely right about the greed BUT, from a the point of view of a neutral or a Liverpool fan who likes to watch football in general, it's a good thing that there are less clashes now.

We'll score at least 3...Carroll will score.

If not it'll be a nervy 2-0 Carroll will score though.

I agree.  If you play the away leg first, the main priority is to get an away goal.  Away goals can make/break you in these competitions..... just ask Bayern!

Would be happy if that is true, with Agger, Pacheco, Spearing, Jova etc on the bench.

Didn't see anything from them that would  frighten us last week, in fact we dominated for long periods and controlled the match without much of a go , tonight will be different, the big fella's on from the start with support from Maxi, Cole and Kuyt, they will park the bus and try and score on the break, we will handle them no worries, not saying it will be a breeze but we are far better than them, 3-0 at least, Carroll with a brace and Kuyt or Raul with the other.    C'mon Redmen, SMASH EM
