Anybody want to be my personal assistant.

I'll get you into Anfield free. ;)

Would be expensive to get myself and my son in to the Anfield road end but I'll not be worrying about that for awhile as we won't be going under our current owners

Jesus Christ thats a F***ing increase and a half!

£43 for a ticket in The Kop...scandalous. Then when the VAT increase kicks in that'll go up to £45.

Doesn't look like I'll be getting to many games this season, when the owners are gone. It's just getting a bit too expensive.

F***ing hell thats a massive jump. Its not like that money is going to go towards a better ticketing system so you can actually get through easier or anything.

In comparison with other top clubs its quite low i'd imagine but it sickens me that this is the only way those two can keep us afloat until new investors.

And even then i doubt new investors would lower the tickets at all.

It will be interesting to see what the 'buy back' price is for season ticket holders that can't go to a match. Last season the club bought the ticket back for £30 per ticket and sold it on for £35 I think. If it hasn't increased, which wouldn't surprise me, then it is another example of the club fleecing the fans for as much as they can.

And the one thing that pisses me off more than anything is the excuse that VAT has been increased, inflation is high, it's a recession, well its the same for the supporters who pay out their arse every week!!!!

Shocking increase and shocking they announce the same day as Joe Cole news is broken!

I attended 15 or 16 games last season and regardless of what does/doesnt happen with the Yanks I wont be able to attend that amount this with these prices.

Tickets were bound to increase, it's inevitable I suppose, and I would imagine they are still quite a bit less than Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and the scummy mancs.

Won't be going to any matches anyway so I'll be saving myself a nice pretty packet.

'NOT A PENNY MORE' from me anyway.

Last Year, Cat A games were £39, and B's were £37 (all stands I think). VAT increase would have taken it to £40 / £38. Season ticket increase was about £35 (excl VAT), so about £2 a game.

So I would have expected Cat A's to be £42 and B's to be £40.
      10 A's @ £42 = £420
      9 B's @ £40 = £360, total £780

      Now it is
      6 A's @ £45 = £270
      5 B's @ £41 = £205
      8 C's @ £39 = £312 = total £787

      Still f*** high though

All I have to say to this is Iraqi Goals.

£45 for a match, Plus transport, food, drink... they have got to be having a laugh.

As I rarely go to matches this will not affect me much if at all. But 15% increase is a joke.
