I'd much rather Tom Ince to be playing instead of Degen.Wasn't Degen told he could leave today ? He's hardly going to give 100%.

Valle dropped for Spearing. Interesting to see if Aquilani will stay in the more prominent role.

Can't say I am overly happy with the team. But, I suppose with the lack of World Cup players being available, I can understand. Good to see Darby, Kelly, Ammo, Eccleston and Speaing getting a opportunity to impress. Not overly happy with Degen playing but we have no LB so I cvan understand. Whyb the f**k is Riera on the bench? Awk well.

Why has the squad been announced so early?

I hope that Shelvey gets a decent run out tonight, it will be interesting to see what he is like and see his potential.
