What frightens me a little is I knew this isn't our first team but our first team squad was not particularly strong last season and Purslow has took it on himself to make it weaker by selling off fringe players to get money.
If anything we needed to add to the squad and try and keep everyone. There was times last season I couldn't believe my eyes when looking at the Liverpool bench. We will have very little strength in depth next season.
It is All well and good but if we have an injury crisis we are in trouble. Like everyone on here I really want the kids to succeed but barring a couple they are just not ready if some of them will ever be ready.
