In a head to head league you play a game each gameweek against another team in the league. Your score versus your opponent's score. 3 points for a win and 1 points for a draw.With the top 8 teams qualifing to the next round.

The idea is to have a competitive league without the trappings of, for example, hoping Ashley Cole gets assists or Ryan Giggs plays from the start.

All the rules are the same, but using Chelsea or Man Utd players WILL result in your team's expulsion.
Of course, supporters of Man Utd or Chelsea are very welcome to join the league should their team meet this additional criterion.

Right I'm up for this again as I was last year. I've joined in the classic league but is there anyway without creating a whole new team I could join the head to head league as well

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... Liverpool All-Stars



It was more difficult that I thought.  Finding the keepers was no problem, but I had to put Konchesky in there because I couldn't find any ex-Liverpool defenders in the Premiership other than Warnock.  Hyypia, Arbeloa and Riise are abroad, Ayala is probably going to Hull (would've been nice if it was a PL club) and Steve Finnan hasn't got a club anymore.

Only did this today, so they will start on week 4 - I'll let you know how they get on
