FIFA 08?

I have had issues where it freezes, especially at the beggining when you are playing with Ronaldinho and the match is about to start, it lets you play with Ronaidlinho but the message "Press start to play does not show up"

Strange its starting to piss me off.

Actually, when i first bought the game (when it came out) it did that a lot. i used to quit the game  and turn it back on. This also happens to my cousin who has Fifa 08.

A few months ago it just stopped happening and i havent encountered that problem in a long time now.

Thing is EA have nothing listed under development for Fifa 09...must have some footie action on my new PS3! I'll check with the EA rep I know re the story on 09...

Yep - I think I ordered a pad and Time Crisis 4 with them.  Can't fault them.

One of my mates works high up in marketing with Disney - he's got me Turok so far  :.  Worse thing is he used to work for Sony, and I used to get wedge after wedge of games - unfortunately that was PS2 days - not PS3, although it was exciting having a go of a PSP 6 months before they were released.

Still early days so far with the writing JD but I have a contact at Ea & Sega so far...working on others

The problem we had with a league was that we never pinned down a proper date and time of the week to play the league games.  Also FIFA 08 wasn't particularly friendly in finding one of your online friends to play with.  I couldn't find you 'in the game' so to speak.  Pretty much playing randoms.  Same as many of the early games.

Nearly all of them now have the option of finding your friends in multiplayers and (hopefully) the introduction of in-game XMB will help further.

I play it...hit me up for a game. Unless your one of those boobs who quits if you go down a couple goals early or even worst quits right before the match ends. It really angers me when people do that

Dont have Fifa, regardless of the online faults PES is still the better game IMO, Downloaded the Euro 2008 demo tho and was very impressed, looks fantastic and plays quite like PES, just hate the fact I have to use the Stick instead of the D-Pad

If the next Fifa is like the Euro game i may be tempted (unless Konami can sort the online issues out!)

What exactly is wrong with the PES this year? Everyone says its sh*t but i never found out why.

PES hasn't changed much for ages, Fifa has been upgraded so much it plays as well as PES in my opinion. I used to be a PES devotee but Fifa is my game now (I own both btw)

I didnt say it was sh*t, There are just some issues with screen judder, Like I said its still better than Fifa IMO but Konami needs to make the next better  RE online and apperence

I thought FIFA 08 was better than the Euro demo to be honest.

It's going to be interesting when the next lot are released to see if Pro Evo can claw it back.

Has there been a patch released for FIFA now? Can you find your online friends on it.
