Most people (non Macedonians) will agree with this.

It's good to hear that most people agree with what i've written, i thought I may have got bits of it wrong.
My Greek flatmate told me about it. Are the Rabotnicki "Macedonians" so brainwashed as my flatmate says they are? they seemed to be pretty fanatical in booing Sotis, i mean, there's no place for politics in football is there? Why should Sotis get booed just because he's from Greece? (i bet he hardly knew why they were booing him).

I heard they were being racist too against our black players, they were fined £10,000 by UEFA the last time it happened (when they booed Heskey), it seems they haven't learned their lesson. Bigger fine methinks and maybe a European ban...that should teach them not to be racist and steal other countries' history.

Is the return leg on the magical channel that no-one's ever heard of?

      Return leg is on LFCTV.

Good performance from the reds, excellent ball for the first from Lucas and great cross from Kelly for the second. Also see Hodgson was impressed with N'Gog's performance.

If Amoo can work on an end product he could easily go into the same mould as the Walcott's and Lennon's of this world, plenty of pace, just his final ball or cross was lacking last night, but that will come with time and work.

N'Gog showing plenty of composure in front of goal as well for the first, judged the bounce of the ball well and was good with the flick to take the ball away from the keeper. Brilliant finish for the second as well!

A new, exciting, chapter might just have begun at Anfield.

      So says the Guardian Online.

      Thanks for the history lesson.

I am quite aware of it myself as I hail from the Balkans, I was merely giving an answer to our mates who were confused as to why Sotis was being booed??

Ngog's ball control and holding play was excellent last night.

Sotis was being booed because the people of FYROM despise anything Greek. Tito named this slavic region Macedonia in the hope that one day he would be able to get a claim to a port in Greek Macedonia through war. This never happened. Macedonia is still a huge Greek region and this is the region of the famous Greek tribe which sporned Philip II, Aristotle and famously Alexander III (The Great) and an army that conquered everything up to India in less that 8 years. When the people of FYROM who are of Bulgarian descent decided to name themselves 'Macedonia' the Greeks instantly blocked the name as did the rest of the EU. However FYROM sent troops to Bushes' War on Terror, which Greece deemed an illegal war. So to reward Fyrom for sending 22 troops to Iraq and Afganistan, America recognised Fyrom as Macedonia and so did Britain.. In Greece we still refer to the country as Fyrom and will not allow them in the EU until they change their name and stop brainwashing their children against Greece and their biological and cultural relatives Bulgaria (whose heros they also claim!). Sotis would be proud to be called Alexander the Great because most Greeks believe they have some descent to soldiers in that in that famous army.

Wouldn't say it was excellant Stevie, he took his goals well, not to much sticked when it was played up to him, I personally think his touch and hold up play is pretty poor to be honest.

Too many balls bounce away from David, get this part of game right and the rest will follow.

Solid performance from the team, good to see Ngog get his goals, and good confidence boost for Kelly and Lucas with the assists.
