CMON THE REDS
Vista service pack 2

Lads
Im having a terrible time with my PC. I installed vista service pack 2 and then it came up Service Pack not installed reverting changes. Its been doing this for round 6 hours now and it just keeps rebooting and going to the same message.
Anybody got a clue how i can fix this. Mods feel free to move this if this is wrong place. Cheers in advance

No idea how to fix it but you're wasting your time with Vista in general, it's bollocks. If your computer can run it and you have the money go and buy windows 7.

My laptop just refuses to run SP2. Still with SP1.
I'm tempted to go to 7 but it's still early IMO. Like to see how it settles in and then see if it's worth buying.

Bit off topic, I've got Vista and my Wife has 7. Can't stand 7.
If it was me, I'd turn it off. and see what happens. Try and re-install it. Good luck.
