I thought everybody played well tonight, once we scored the tye was over and it was difficult to keep the intensity high. Once it clicks for N,gog what a player he will be, i just hope he doesnt get too frustrated with the chances that he doesnt take and it effects his game.

First proper interview i have seen of Roy Hodgson and i enjoyed it. Not having a dig at Rafa but i like how Hodgson is different in the sense that Hodgson admits to wanting to sign players and answers questions directly even though i do love Rafa's sense of humour.

Hope we get Motherwell at the next round. Don't know why but I just want to see it.

I aint getting too excited, the team played well but if Ngog can't score against a bunch of mediocre part time footballers who were probably brick laying yesterday, then he will struggle against most of the premiership.

good game tonight, nicely played. I have to admit that when we first sigh Cole I was a bit skeptical but now I actually like what I see same feelings for Roy so really looking forward to this season

 Well in lads played really well and thouroughly deserved to wn, 2 games 2 wins 2 clean sheets, excellent start to this season, Man of the match for me M kelly superb all of the 90mims and grew in confidence especially the 2nd half, Joe Cole had a excellent debut and did everyrthing but score his link up play with Gerrard was fantastic and very encouraging for the season to come, Gerrard looked back to himself with some great passing and link up play and totally bossed the whole match, Jovanovic was very good and i can see good things from him to come, very strong and very difficult to dispossess, will be useful in the box and for holding play up very good adition, Pacheco did'nt have the best of games but some of his touches were good and showed his intelligent side on occasion, defo one for the future but as for being thrown in as a first teamer he's not quite ready yet, he will gain alot of confidence from tonight and the best i see for him is as a impact player, Ngog was typical Ngog, plenty of chances and should have bagged at least 3, but he has improved and he could develop into a very handy player, he is learning all the time and could'nt be in better company than Nando, I loved the fluidity and confidence from the lads and the passing was very good of course the opposition were'nt much of a test but you can only play whats in front of you, Overall a thouroughly professional display and very well done considering it was only the 2nd game. Well in Redmen.

Erm in a 4-0 aggregate scoreline, Ngog scored 3 of them.

That's the difference right there....Roy is feeding the players petrol before the games....that's where we went wrong last year!

As far as I'm aware the attendance was just over 30,000 and it was fairly muted.

Carra was trying to get them fired up, so it wasn't a typical European tie.
