To be fair, Roy did change his tactical approach to away games.
Instead of sitting deep all the time and giving up possession, Liverpool try to press sometimes and attack far more often, and achieve more than reasonable stats (17 shots, 60% possession, iirc yesterday).
The problem is he don't manage to make the team attack and defend correctly at the same time, and his mental preparation, probably consisting of saying that the opposition is strong and we would be extremely lucky to win away, seem not to exactly have the best results.
He also spend less time sitting his head in his hands than in the beginning of season, but his new scratch head gestures don't seem to really motivate the players.
