Here we go again, another season beckoning...

Probably going to be a LFC 'squad' game this one.  No doubt the new away kit will be on display so it would be good to start off with a nice win.  Will there be any new boys involved - will Carson be involved?

If I'm right, I think that this is the fourth season running we have sent down a team to play Wrexham.
The main point of the fixture is to put some well needed cash into their pot.
So, looking back at the team that played last season, I would imagine a few big names in but the majority squad / reserve players.
I don't think that Torres will be back from his holiday by then, I may be wrong, but that would be a shame as he would ensure that it's another sell out.

I'll stick my neck out and say 4 - 1 to Liverpool.

Court would the last friendly at anfield be against Valencia when Rafa was in charge there

Remember a boss bicycle kick by Le Tallec towards the end of the game, but for me was a sheer joy to watch Aimar ran the show for them

With a bit of luck the most important thing about this game is that we can all rip the piss out of Rafa's goatee so that he shaves it off before Match of the Day start ripping the piss in front of the entire nation.

Good job I read this.  Only just back from a morning of work so will have to re-arrange for the Crewe one.

Meanwhile back to today, a relatively inexperienced squad is expected to take part in today's friendly which will be one of the reds last appearances at Wrexham.  The reserves had played at the Racecourse as our home ground, but this will now be switched to Warrington from this season.
