Read a bit about him before, don't think i have ever seen him play though. If he is free, it may be worth taking the risk. However, i suspect that this rumour is exactly that....A RUMOUR!!! Probably a load of sh*te.

I think it's just media sh*t, trying to revive an old rumour from Rafa's era. I remember to hear good things when we were first linked to him, but he's already 22 and played only 5 games as a professional for São Paulo. If you consider he was at the same club where Breno, at the age of 17, was already a regular starter in central defence (and later sold to Bayern Munchen), it doesn't sound very good, does it? If I'm not mistaken, he used to be Breno's partner in São Paulo's youth side but hardly played for the first team, despite being 2 years older. Oh, and it says on wikipedia he's signed for the newly promoted Guarani, and not out of contract as the article states.

And £10M asking price?, tell me a better joke. Gotta be agent bullshit. Much better prospects leave Brazil every year for less than that.
