Difficult for Pachecho tonight I thought. Not his natural position and looked well out of sorts playing there. Think he got disheartened a bit early on as well as he was trying to press and people ignored him.

I'd have to agree with this. He did fail to seize the opportunity though. Still, I'd like to see him on the left of the 4-3-3, just to see how he does in a more natural position for him.

Could have easily scored a couple early on if his teammates had their head up a bit more. Best way to find someone's true potential is to play them in the first XI with other first XI players. Sterling put in some average performances is the past in these reserve/youth make up squads.

Stopped running the attacking channels in the second half though but then again the only service he got was over-hit crosses.

Got to agree with that, one thing I would say is that he was more willing to chase things than Suso was.

It is now but not in the time Pacheco played there. There was Riijkard as the manager and he played mostly with a recognized no 9. Considering the closed links between their first team and academy (playing with the same formation and style) Pacheco was for La Masia what Eto'o was for the first team.

Wasn't just on about style of play, also meant the players playing around him.

After watching him a few times I wouldn't have him down as a centre-forward anyway, maybe playing off a forward, but not as lone striker.

Finding it funny that hendo played his last full season at sunderland at RM. And then people were saying like he played out of position,and he have excellent attributes. Then pacheco played as CF for one game and people just slags him off

People call for youngsters to be given a chance but then say they aren't good enough after one game?

In the Europa game i believe he was played out of position.
Telling to lead the line in my opinion was unfair and i wouldnt really judge him on that performance.
I guess he'll get a few runs in the cup games.

Touch of class was that plus he had a bright game, perhaps the brightest he has looked in a Livepool shirt.

Thought he well, especially in the 2nd half, brilliant touch by him at the end too and nice for things like that to be reported about our players. So many strong performances suddenly selection issues for Brendan of the type he'll love.
