Birmingham vs Liverpool (Sunday 12th September 2010)

Hi there, is anyone going to this game?

I went up to Birmingham on Fathers day and watched us draw 1-1 and saw the Torres substition which shocked Stevie G.

I will be going this season and was wandering if anyone is going?

Also....what is the away end? :S

Last time i was sat behind the BCFC goal and trying not to cheer was hard!

Not going to a single game this season, money just not going to stretch that far, with family things going on.  But Birmingham away is a fixture I don't think I'll ever go to again.  The most scared I've ever been leaving a ground in my life.

The tickets go on sale tomorrow and 30 quid is cheap, 7quid on train, good weekend.

I was on me own as well. Would only go again if I was with someone. Had to walk back 45 minutes to the train station in a sea of Birmingham fans all shouting sh!t at me...not the best experience.

Im going with my dad but its going to be same as last year, up on the train from new street its only 10 minutes.

Im going to be up in the LFC end last year was in the BCFC end and they were some pricks to say the least.

Why were you so scared?

I saw a group of Liverpool fans being attacked, I saw Brum fans with weapons & if I'd not been with a couple of family members who were Brummies, though not Birmingham City fans, things definitely could have got a lot worse for me.

How long ago was this?

When i went up there it was heavily police guarded.

May 2004.  We won 3 -0, Birmingham fans weren't happy. 

I went up this year, fathers day to be exact. I thought I had picked the LFC away end and was infact wrong.

Its 10 minutes walk from the train station, i will be wearing my new LFC top hopeful with jovoc on back but will be wearing a hoody so don't get too much abuse as you do.

So the tickets go on sale today and I ended up ringing there ticket office and you have to of watched 2 games last season with them, so I tried to lie after failing to say i went to two games and then they check your booking history....

What do u expect mate? away tickets are generally like gold dust, we usually get allocation of something like 2,500-3,000 and we have around 25,000 season ticket holders

I bought some last season and sat in birmingham end, its for the whole stadium you have to of watched 2 games at least last season.

There is a morrisons literally just up from the stadium its 30 seconds walk. Car Park attendants don't work Sundays as I work in a morrisons and the CP Plus companies don't work Sunday and Monday.

Ha ha same as me, i came over from Ireland, got a cheap flight over.But ended up in the Birmingham end, just two of us,we took some abuse of that lot.Thought we were going to get the sh*t kicked out of us.
