Good team Brian, although I would not have Cole on the left. Be careful though you might get a neg. I just got one for my above selection. Reason given was ' for being anti-lucas '   You cannot have an opinion can you!    Johnson on the right is a good shout. Id go for maxi though! Might be good to see pacheco too.

I'd play the same team that beat Rabotnicki away 2-0.

Didnt see all of the game and cannot remember what the team was. Seem to remember Amoo playing? Didn't aquilani play in that one?

We need to go out and win this convincingly. I'll definitely miss the match because I'll be on my way to China.

Put in the strongest team and get a good result. That will boost the morale ahead of the match against West Brom.

Everyone in their natural positions please!!!
Agger is not a left back
      Kuyt is not a winger
      Ngog is shocking...

Go to turkey, put these lads in their place, come home- smoosh West Brom, Chelsea stylie, and convince us lastnight was a mere blip in the season...

I got negged for not putting lucas in. If you are going to play 2 behind torres then it would have to be Gerrard and Cole with maybe Jova or Babel on the left!

I don't see why Kuyt couldn't play with Gerrard behind Torres, he's a striker by trade and would be more comfortable there than on the right for example, plus it's proven that himself, Gerrard and Torres can all link up very well together.

I would be concerned because everytime the ball went up to kuyt it would just bounce off him and we would lose the ball. Also, if we are going to play people behind torres, they should have pace, vision, movement, good touch etc. Kuyt does not fit that bill for me. Just my opinion though bud!

Just have to ask the question why are so many putting Ngog on in front of Torres ,he may not be fit but for me i would take an 80% torres over Ngog any fckin day of the week, i know he is young but surely you can see he cant control the ball ,personally i would even play Babel instead of him.

No way, for me Ngog is already ahead of babel in terms of ability as a striker. Ngog has proven that he has decent hold up ability, whereas Babel can only run in a straight line and lose the ball. For me Ngog is alot more versatile and knows what position he is., my only problem with him is how wasteful he is, fortunately he gets chances galore provided on a plate by the likes of Gerrard and Cole.

I wouldn't play Torres for this, Ngog up front as the lone man for me, with cole behind him, Poulsen and Stevie laa anchoring the midfield Maxi and Jova right and left (maybe swapping sides at some point in the game). Then i'd have a back 4 of Kelly Carra Soto and Aurelio.

That would get the job done.

Bench would be Jones, Torres, Agger, Skrtel, Kuyt, Lucas and Johnson.

If Aquilani was here still here, Id say it would be a good time to travel to Turkey and F***ing leave Lucas there, however we are short in numbers so the lad now more than ever has to step up to the plate and start delivering so if its himself or Poulson alongside Gerrard, I'm expecting more than the sh*te I seen last night.
