I think Cisse will probably go for 10m with Cherou on top. As long as he leaves Liverpool FC I will be happy. I know he has scored 19 goals this season but his attitude towards Benitez and the other players is awkward so he should go as soon as possible. If he goes we will only have 2 top strikers (Fowler and Crouch) and 2 young strikers (Pongolle and Le tallec) we should sell Le tallec and keep Pongolle as fowlers age is pretty old. We could definetly use pongolle. Then Rafa has to go and sign a World class striker like Huntaleer, Kuyt,Torres, Defoe, Bellamy etc, the list goes on and on. so overall I think we will end up with these strikers.......:

      ~Fowler
      ~Crouch
      ~Pongolle
      ~___new_______
      ~___new_______

But I wish the 2 new strikers will be Huntaleer and Bellamy

how can you say Huntaleer/Kuyt/Bellamy/Defoe are world class?? I do like Defoe and think he'll be a good signing if we get him but not for crazy money, maybe 6-8m. I havent really seen the Dutch players but have heard they were good in the Dutch league but so was Kezman so you cant really read to much into that (But i know they are highly rated BUT not world class yet), Bellamy COULD be good BUT he COULD also be a trouble maker so............

Torres would be an awsome signing but could just be to expensive but who knows how much we have to spend......

I would love to see Ronaldo aswell as he is still quality and I think Rafa would get him into shape , the fans would love him and i think he could be bought for about 7-10m......

Like you said tho the list does go on and on and eveybody have there own thoughts but i think we all agree we need at least 1 world class striker and 1 very good striker.......

Think if rafa's got the money he will go for 2 world class strikers fsp will not stay fowler will be used as backup for whoever comes in and lets hope crouch puts some weight on and bangs a few in at the world cup.

if we do get another striker there just gunna be like a cisse or a morientes, cisse was the top scorcer in france but look at him now so wot ever striker we get will never be good the only good striker i think he should get is darren bent  cos he has got alot in the prem so he no's wot he is doin not like shitty cisse

I would prfer Defoe to Bent I think Defoe has a better touch and a looks a lot faster than Bent but if Bent can score so many for Charlton he would surely improve if he came to us either one would do but I still think we could do with a seriously world class goalscorer,I do agree that we would love to see Ronaldo at Anfield but he would have to get into shape before Rafa would even consider that

Kuyt and Bellamy would be the best options, I think.
Kuyt works really hard as a striker, scores a lot of goals, with the likes of Stevie G, Kewell and Alves (?) behind him, I can't see why he wouldn't do the same in the Premiership.
Bellamy is Premiership-proven + a scouser, Rafa will sort out the discipline problem. Doesn't score THAT much, but should definitely do better than Nando ...

With those two, I'd be damn happy.

Kuyt is definitely more aggressive and faster than Crouch.
      He scores more too.
I'm from Belgium, and I see a lot of matches from the Dutch league: he played a vital role in his Feyenoord side this season, together with Kalou (who now joined Chel$ki btw).

No chance. He's had a good World Cup, his price would sky rocket. And do you remember such players as Diouf and Diao, who we bought because they had a good World Cup - and look how that turned out for us.

      Your right there.

I don't think the World Cup is a place to go window shopping at all.

Yes, remember Diouf, Diao and Phil Babb ?? All World Cup prodigies.

And even in this world cup, the likes of Gerrard, Lampard and Terry who we know are quality places would just look ordinary to other countries fans.

But then it says something if Gerrard hasn't looked his best and still scored twice - he is a legend...
