Kuyt and Bellamy would be the best options, I think.
Kuyt works really hard as a striker, scores a lot of goals, with the likes of Stevie G, Kewell and Alves (?) behind him, I can't see why he wouldn't do the same in the Premiership.
Bellamy is Premiership-proven + a scouser, Rafa will sort out the discipline problem. Doesn't score THAT much, but should definitely do better than Nando ...

With those two, I'd be damn happy.

Kuyt is definitely more aggressive and faster than Crouch.
      He scores more too.
I'm from Belgium, and I see a lot of matches from the Dutch league: he played a vital role in his Feyenoord side this season, together with Kalou (who now joined Chel$ki btw).

I hear people say 'David Villa' too all the time, and it would be an excellent addition of course, but we can't afford'im, face it. En besides, Nando was a goalgetter too, before he joined us...

No chance. He's had a good World Cup, his price would sky rocket. And do you remember such players as Diouf and Diao, who we bought because they had a good World Cup - and look how that turned out for us.

      Your right there.

I don't think the World Cup is a place to go window shopping at all.

Yes, remember Diouf, Diao and Phil Babb ?? All World Cup prodigies.

And even in this world cup, the likes of Gerrard, Lampard and Terry who we know are quality places would just look ordinary to other countries fans.

But then it says something if Gerrard hasn't looked his best and still scored twice - he is a legend...
