Going against the grain, I think the third pen was correct.

Great game this, shows how far away Englih clubs are from this standard of football, it's another world.

      Financially it's another world too.

I feel for Xabi but seeing Real lose is nearly as good as watching the scum lose.

I really can't stand that Club

      Atletico Madrid 70 GD+45
      Real Madrid 70 GD+50
      Barcelona 69 GD+60

Very close. Barca to play Atletico last game of the season!

I'll blame the Spanish score board.

I envy those who can go to the Camp Nou and watch Iniesta and Messi on a regular basis. It's a great privilege.

I hate both Real Madrid and Barcelona. The diving, play-acting, ref-crowding, the size of the wage bills, not to mention the f**king arrogance of both of them. Someone needs to nut Ronaldo, Xavi, Ramos, Busquets, etc. The talent of both sides is unquestionable, absolutely unbelievable talent, but El Clasico is a farce every year with the way both teams carry on.

I would love nothing more than a Diego Costa dive to win the league-clinching penalty for Atletico at the Camp Nou. As much as I hate diving, it would give both of them a taste of their own medicine. (Only for them to go out and spend obscene amounts in the summer, mind you.)

Really hoping Atletico hang on in there and clinch the title, the last few years they've been strong for 3/4 of the season but then seem to drift behind the usual 2. That league needs a different winner, been Barca and Madrid for too long. Need it mixing up like when Valencia won it

So much acting in the 'Clasico', I half expected both teams to pop back out for a curtain call.

Where did I say it was't everywhere? I commented on this game, in which the play-acting was particularly noticeable. it seems no one is holier than thou.

I was making the point that just about every game you see it in, the clasico wasn't really different than any other game in that regard.

I'd not seen as many players at it, in one game, for a while. I never deny it goes on in this country either.

I do agree that the game does seem to bring out the worst in people, Arbeloa since he went back to spain seems to have turned into some sort of pyscho.

Not technically La Liga but what a goal from Bale - looks like it's won Real the Copa del Rey

      Copa del rey.

2-1 Madrid after 84 mins. Bale has just run half way across the pitch and scores another top goal. He really has outshone my expectations of him in his first season.

That must be Barca's 3rd defeat in a row now?! They haven't got a clue this season, shocking! They need 2 new keepers, 2 CB's and some reliable FB cover to get back to anywhere near the level they were at under Guardiola. Shocking.
