Suarez scored with minutes to go to give Atletico the win today. Real Madrid also won.

Next weekend is the final round. Atletico are 2 points clear of Real. If Atletico win they are champions. A draw may not be enough because Real have a better head to head record.

Very exciting - hope Luis wins it for them.

Finishes 2-1 real and 2-1 atletico.

Suarez scored to make it 2-1 effectively winning the title. Congrats. Still a machine and a great mentality.

Pleased for Atletico and especially Luis after Barce unceremoniously got rid last summer. To see him play such a crucial part in winning the league feels like the right response and shows what quality and determination he has even now.

I hope they win the league every year he’s there. Don’t like Real at all. Not overly fond of Barce either.

Serious question, does Real Madrid have a youth policy?

Yes, one or two appeared towards the end of the season.  Not many in the Spanish youth set ups though

      Barca strengthening Atletico further.

Barca have gone from Messi, Suarez and Griezemann to Aguero, Braithwaite and Luuk De Jong in the space of 12 months.

Guess they figure if they can't beat Real themselves they will help Athletico do to ;D

Koeman about to get the bullet. Seriously man has no idea nor has he proven anything as a manager sacked wherever he’s worked.

All this couldn’t have happened to a nicer club it could be a long road back for them a little like AC Milan.

Hard task that though. Basically just coaching the team while the heart was being ripped out because of the financial situation.

To be fair though, he only got the job because of the Dutch connection. No way you hire him based on his track record to manage a club like Barca imo.

Anyway, let’s hope they continue to crash and burn!

No he got the job cos he's a legend at the club, scored the winner in their first Champions League win.

Yup, this. Barcelona has a tendency to hire managers based on sentimentality rather than competence. Sometimes it works, often it doesn't.

As far as Koeman is concerned, it's no longer a matter of "if", but rather of "when". I'm actually surprised he lasted so long to be honest, so props to him.

Don't rate him as a coach but Barcelona need a miracle worker with this team, he certainly isn't one.

Just watched the 1st half of Barca and Granada, 17 yr old making his full debut at left back and had to go off with a back injury and how did his team mate support him in that moment (the number 4) - pushing him off the pitch to hurry him up.

The team is a mess, they will be lucky to get Champions League football for next season, overall it's a bang average squad with a bang average manager.

Imagine going from Messi, Suarez, Neymar and David Villa over recent years to Depay, Braithwaite and Luuk De Jong. Struggle to get a bigger downgrade than that. The La Liga Arsenal they are becoming.

Are things so dire at Barcelona that they had to move Dest to RW? Yikes.

Aguero left the pitch with breathing problems.
Last month he was encouraging the kids of Catalan to get the jab.
Wonder if he’s another sportsman who’s experienced side effects.

      Barcelona looks terrible though.
