Convenient that. Resigns from his position when he realises they wont be in for a good season. Goes back to the job upon elimination from the Champions League, the Copa del Rey and when it becomes clear they wont win the league and all the while, keeps his own reputation intact and untarnished. Bottle job manager. As soon as he couldn't rely on Ronaldo he was out of there, now when there is zero pressure at all, he takes the job for the remainder of the season.

Not sure what this rant is about considering he's contracted for 3 years after this season?  ???

It's not a rant. Also clear what I'm saying, he bailed when he knew it was going to be a tough season, now walks back in with no pressure. Instead of having been sacked himself for them being crap this year.

He walked away when Perez said he wasn't going to get control over transfers. Now that Perez is willing to give in on that, he's come back in.

Wouldn't say there's no pressure either. He's won everything with them already, there's nothing for him to prove yet he's putting his legacy on the line to a degree by going back and trying to rebuild them. The 'no pressure' approach would surely have been to stay away and wait for another job to come up.

If he's been given enough money for transfers to entice him back it's scary what kind of spending they could do this summer.

Your team could work flawless all game, disciplined like a f***in' machine, containing him for 90 minutes. But nothing would be enough to stop something like that. It's just absolute genius.

Ridiculous from Messi vs Betis.  Best player I've seen play football in my lifetime.  So talented. And not a diving shyster.
