Big summer Tom & George, yes for you two Cowboys, 9 million transfer profit. Cheers.

...and then some (wages bill); add to that the £6.5 from January..... penalty fee paid. I can't wait to hear the excuses.

I expect they'll wheel Roy out to spout the "we tried but couldn't reach agreement before the deadline expired" sh*te.

Have we ever been in for a striker this window?

H&g to pocket transfer money again.

I really doubt it to be honest.....if we had really been in for a striker we could have signed one with the money made from player sales.

Add up the money we've made in the last 4 summer and winter transfer windows, and we could have bought David Villa, Turan, and Steve Defour.

F***ing scumbags!  Get the F**k out now!  I was going to buy new jerseys for me and my lady with Meireles and Cole on them, but I will not pay for anything until the two leeches are out!

even Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan would have been useful. How did Stoke & Birmingham do better than us at at attracting loan signings?

'Cause they've money to pay them a wage maybe?

Sold or loaned out 20 players.

      Brought in 10 players.

so we've trimmed teh squad by ten players so far.

Plessis and ElZhar deals could still go through.

H&G made another tidy profit from us this transfer window... and any extra funds will disappear as they have done in previous years.... Alonso Fee... Keane Fee..
We bidded 7 million for Cole.. makes me sick when Huntelaar went for 10..

Really don't want to hear a word all season from Roy about lack of options or no money...

Don't worry everyone. The deals might have been tied up by the club but they just haven't publicised them yet.

      Yeah F***ing right.

What I dont understand is that for the club to be sold, you've got to protect its value.

Not investing in players risks not making CL, risks losing the good players left on our books, risks not being able to attract the type of players we had always been competing for.

Out of CL reduces our advertising and broadcasting revenue.

Not buying exciting players reduces potential shirt sales.

Not buying players reduced the amount a buyer would want to pay as they have to take into account the outlay on player transfers when they come in.

Our wonderba owners continually reduce the value of the club and yet they overprice it over and above what its value once was.  As a supporter its sad but as somebody with half a business brain, it's downright shocking.

keep refreshing the official site in hope that a huge "EXCLUSIVE" banner will pop up announcing some major signing but then the stark realisation that we are owned by a bunch of money-grabbing, blood-sucking, club crippling cu*ts hits home harder than ever . However Meireles was a nice bit of work and i applaud roy for that.

Him or that Interest Payment fella he's on some tidy wages but spent three years on the treatment table as we've never seen him.

also, even though we had both aurellio and insua we all felt we needed more cover for that area, wheres the sense in just replacing insua with konchesky? i know the wage bill will be one of the first reponses thrown at me but come on, seriosuly how many games can we expect fabio to be fit for, meaning keeping insua wud have been a better option as i hate seeing agger at LB (not because i dont rate him but because there is no sense in playin one of the leagues best CB's outta position. )

sorry for going off topic, back on topic:

      .
JimBoardman    @RushianLFC Still time to boost that profit - the deadline's 11pm across most of Europe so presumably we can still sell. #lfc

So why the window closes  this early in  England, so now we can sell (if a good offer comes in and cannot buy and the last minutes sales go in the clowns' pockets

Yeah Meireles was really our late window signing....I would much rather stay put then waste money.
