Downloaded them, I'm ashamed to say, but will be definitely buying them at some point, I enjoyed them that much!

Originally bought the first three as a present for my brother in law, and he spoke so highly of them (he finished his collection in about 6 weeks! ) that I had to read them.

Not a big fan of any tv shows really, usually get through the 1st season then lose interest,did it with 24 and every keeps telling me to watch em, really not interested, but not this cant wait for series 3 and after watching that it makes it worse!

Activision have also announced a Walking Dead FPS based around the lives of Darrel and Murrel just after the start of the zombie apocalypse.

Incredibly intense, this latest season.

And speaking as someone who has read all the graphic novels, they are following the main plot fairly closely, although some characters have been added, and some deaths altered.

The brutality is pretty faithful, which has me wondering if some of the harshest plot twists form the books will be included, though I'll avoid mentioning them to avoid spoilers!

Incredibly intense, this latest season.

It has been and actually makes you appreciate more the slow paced episodes in Season 2.

They really helped build up a relationship with the characters.

Interested to see what happens with Merle now as I have't read any of the graphic novels.

I really did know very little about this until the show started.

I keep hearing about how season 3 is so good... think I'll have to get back to Walking Dead. I abandoned it after just a few episodes of season 2, it was too dramatic with not enough zombies.

Plenty of them towards the end of that season! And already a few shocks in this season. Really picked up again.

Was so close to giving it up as well during early season two, but the second half did pick up considerably.  And season 3 has knocked it out of the park really, plenty of zombie goodness which was a big criticism of mine in early season 2 - the lack of zombie action.

A few of my mates have picked up again in season 3 because I have raved about it to anyone that will listen.  Don't usually advocate missing episodes but this season is like a character refresh, and a much faster paced, better show.  Definitely worth another go.

David Morrissey has been an excellent addition to the cast too.

Okay, I decided to give it a new chance!

Episodes 3 to 6 of Season 2 were painfully boring, but episode 7 was a lot better. I hate it how I wouldn't give a sh*t if any of the characters just died in the next episode, there's not a single one really likeable at all. I think of Lost and how I nearly cried every time someone died, it really puts The Walking Dead into perspective. I'm getting closer to the part where people say it gets a lot better though, so I won't give up now.

Stick with it Diego, you'll not regret it.

It was really worth the wait, it's so much better now! Much more action and meaningful drama.

I'm not a "all action" kind of guy, I love a bit of drama in a tv series, but it has to be meaningful, profound... and in the beginning of season 2, it was just a bunch of whinny people annoying each other - and myself while I watched it.

It has really improved and now I can actually feel sympathy for the characters (before I only wanted them all to be eaten alive by zombies ). Can't wait for next week's episode

I thought that as well but now I actually really felt for a few characters who I thought were annoying me.

The whole of this season has been fantastic. Never disappoints!

Mid season finale next week is going to be epic!
