I can only think the Swiss courts are utterly corrupt and tainted by the worst kinds of money and unseemly lawyerly threats/arguments. Quite how that pair have got away free is anyone's guess. Not that long ago we had the CAS ruling in favour of Man City which was outrageous too.

A diamond encrusted cesspit of depravity that place institutions are.

I watched it the other day. Eye opening stuff actually. Probably nothing that surprises anyone though.

Looked up how many people died building the stadium’s in Qatar an article in the Guardian seems to think between 6,500 and 15,000. And what do our footballers do……wear an armband to protest about gay rights……. Big licks eh!

Probably somewhere in the middle ... around 10000. What a disgrace that is. And it doesn't get any column inches eh nor is anyone or any entity brought to justice for it.

3 things strike me with this WC. I won't be watching it. I hope England lose every game and il be happy when it's over.

Yeah, the silence on those deaths amongst the footballers is deafening.

LGBTQ rights is such an easy / token thing now that it's message rings hollow. I mean, Nike are appropriating it for god sake.

Do you not remember all the yellow band for Lance Armstrong and cancer appropriated by Nike until everyone learnt he was a cheating b***ard.

What was the reason they didn't sing their anthem? Someone told me they didn't but I don't know the reason

Protesting the human rights violations going on in the country.

Already suggestions the teams families back home have already been threatened if they repeat the behaviour.

I see FIFA has confirmed the 2030 World Cup will be played in 6 countries across 3 continents. The cost, both environmental and to spectators will be enormous . yet again no consideration to Planet we live on, or the humble fan.
