Batistuta, used to love that guy as a kid. What a player.
Hell of a striker! I watched Serie A in the 90s extensively, those bunch of players know their stuff.

Wtf happened to that giant of European football, AC Milan? Haven't seen/heard anything about them for years. Weird.

Only a few games into the season and Inter seem to be in a right mess with Frank De Boer's job already under threat!

You look at that list of players and then today, it's mad how downhill that league has gone!

Anyone been watching Serie A? I haven't watched any this season, but just found out Suso has become a regular starter and one of their main attacking threats.

Be interesting to hear how he is playing and if it's true that he's become an important player for them!

Not watched much Serie A but I remember he got an assist v Juve with the winning goal and with 1 goal and 3 assists so far seems to be doing well.

I think the pace of the Italian league will suit him.

How sad is our Serie A compared to Premier League.
How sad are our stadiums compared to yours in UK.
In Italy we had good team in the past and now the only one that can take part to the Champions League is, unfortunately, Juventus.
I am a supporter of Torino, the other team of Turin, together with Juventus, and yesterday we loose again the derby.
Even if De Coubertin would not agree, the only satisfaction we have are the defeats of Juventus in Champions League.
....our last Championship won in Serie A was the one of 1975/1976, exactly 40 years ago.

And a nice paragraph from him here on the end of his playing career:

"Now time has come and tapped me on the shoulder, telling me I have to grow up. He said, from tomorrow, you will be an adult. Take off your shorts and boots, from now you are a man and can no longer smell the grass, feel the sun in your face, the adrenaline that consumes you and the satisfaction of celebrating."

Italians - always pragmatic but philosophical with it!

You could never imagine a British player coming out with something like that could you? It'd be all 'yeah err, yeah I fought it was the right time, I ain't err getting any younger, yeah I err fought I wanted to go out on a high'

Milan doing great job on the market, Calhanoglu, MUsachio, Andre Silva, Rodriguez and now Bonucci, looks like they will be back in the CL next season.
