London town is burning down
Fernandez Suso (Liverpool > AC Milan)

Well I didn't see a thread on this lad, he deserved one. Made the step up to the reserves today and scored a wonder goal (link above).
Only 16 and still adapting to the game, he is going to be BIG!

He has played the 90 in this game i guess, tuned in late.
He is a bit tired now but needs to work on his match fitness and he will shine.

He was quality for up towards the end of last year. Would love to know what deal we did last year that he still is not fully tied up. The sooner the international clearance comes through the better. An absolute gem with vision for a pass and sublime ability. Nice one Rafa

He was meant to be excellant tonight scored a good goal as well maybe we will see him in the first team this season, Rafa could have left us with a very good parting gift.

Looks a fantastic player on the ball. Obviously needs to bulk up a little bit but at 16 that's very easily achievable.
So is this lad a forward? He seems to be another one of those Pacheco-style players who can play on the wing or in the whole just behind the striker.

He is a left sided midfielder. Has been said to be somewhere between Alonso and Riera. So far that seems to mean left sided player with vision and passing ability not somewhere between excellent and sh*t. I have big hopes for this kid

He has some great vision, he was threading some good balls out and passes, reminds me of xabi deep in our midfield zinging balls everywhere inch perfect.

He was the MOTM tonight. He was awesome. Passing, on the ball and his belter of a goal. Looks every bit of what we heard. Loved watching him tonight. Reminded me of Pacheco in the Ressies to be honest.

I didn't get to see the match, but based on the highlights, Suso looks a very good prospect. He is composed on the ball, good off the dribble, can pick a pass, and has an eye for goal based on his wonderful strike!

Good to hear about another young 'un on the up.
So long as I don't have to read about us selling him off for about £100,000 in January.

I watched the preseason game at Tranmere and he played a sublime pass to Tom Ince who crossed for Amoo to score. Looks a fantastic prospect!

From what I have seen of him, he is brilliant at opening up defences and had a real quality final pass.
Hope to see a lot more of him this season.

Mc Mahon has moved him into a central role behind the front man. He can drop deep for the ball when needed. I suppose he did it because we have Ince challenging for LAM already, whos strenght is making runs, whereas Suso's strenght is his distribution of the ball.

Only on a academy contract, not a full time contract. A scholarship. Means anyone can offer him a full time contract and he can still leave for free.
