"For me, there is no bigger club than Liverpool. The crowd, the people, the stadium and the Kop - that's a feeling that you cannot explain. You have to live that just to know what you feel.

solid comment.  I hope he means what he is saying... I want BR to build a squad of not just talented players but players that would always give 100% to the club both on and off the pitch

Another good interview restating his determination to stay and prove himself.

Great numbers considering Suso was playing for a inferior team and was mainly used out wide.

His season was also very streaky. He peeled off towards the end, but to begin with he was in amazing form.

13 apps 2 goals 5 assists to start the season.

If he can replicate that kind of form over the stretch of an entire season then we will have some player on ours hands. The kind of player we all know he can become.

      Same as many others.
I hope this means he will stay and will be given a chance to show if he is up for the challenge.

Good to hear these comments although I still suspect he may not still be here come the start of the season. Great to hear that Brendan had evidently talked about him having a role to play this season. I think this kid can be like a new signing for the club and I really hope he impresses over the next 6 weeks and that by January he has earned the right to play and to have been offered a new contract.

I saw there were a few questions about where he fitted in within our style of play but I think that he has no problem on this front, he is a very much a technician, good passer, gets on the ball and always shows for it, moves the ball quickly and he has a few skills in his locker to beat players. He does lack raw pace and his final ball/product was perhaps his biggest issue the season before last but he is still so young and last season will have done him a lot of good I think.

Despite playing well last 2 games, does anyone else think he looks out of place on the right side?

I think he needs a central role, whether that'll be #10, central midfield or a deep lying role, I believe we'll see the best of him If it happens.

I think he's a similar type of player to Isco too!

      Agree mate.
I hope he himself be patient and continue work hard with BR that's the right way guide him to be better footballer. He's a talent but his body need develop and that need time and on that way he can also develop other sides of the game.
What I worried is he may want something silly like 'guarantee game time' which never exist in professional football world or anywhere in human real life, you just need to work hard under the right guidance then you get game time, it's not a guarantee.
His interviewed recently look good anyway.

Great news if so. It was only a couple of weeks ago about there being speculation over him being f**ked off to Porto.

Great news that fella. Seen a few quotes of him talking about it and delighted.

Cracking talent is Suso, granted he's got some stiff opposition to push aside to make his way into the first team but that's exactly how it should be. Big decision if he needs 1 more year out on loan or if he can develop with us, soon know I guess.

      Great news love Suso.
He certainly looks more like a young man now than a scrawney kid.
Good to see he has huge talent imo.

He's filling out a bit, as is Coutinho.
He's got more growing to do, and still needs a bit more strength but that will come with time.
I can see another loan spell for him if the right deal (for player and club) can get done, but I wouldn't be unhappy to have him on the bench.

Fantastic stuff. Thought that he, along with Sterling, are the two players in our ranks who can become truly world class material.

I think he's done enough to be in the match day squad when he originally may not have been. I'd be delighted should he start but it depends on what formation we play. The good thing with Suso is that his favourite position is that of a deep lying playmaker but he can also play in the number 10 role and out wide if push comes to shove. I think he's done enough to put the rest of the players on their toes and show them that they can't rest on their laurels.

Best role for him? If we go 4-2-3-1 I think we would get a lot out of him in the centre of the 3. In a 4-3-3 Im not sure how he'd fit
