Haaland off the bench to score a hattrick for Dortmund

Apparently he has scored hat tricks in the Austrian Bundesliga, Austrian Cup, Champions League and German Bundesliga, meaning he has netted a treble in all four competitions that he has played in THIS TERM.

Not bad for a 19 yr old kid.

Haaland is a funny one, when he has the ball he doesn't look *that* impressive but he just seems to have amazing awareness, positioning and can definitely finish. Reminds me a bit of Huntelaar at the beginning of his career, also seemed to simply score every time he played or something

And it would've been strange to say the least if he signed for United, given they idolise the guy who ended Haaland's dad's career in one of the most vicious tackles ever

Feel sorry for Alcacer. Pretty much came in and banged in quite a few goals before the old rubbish about 'all he does is score goals' kicked in.

Two more goals for Haaland coming on as a sub for Dortmund.
Think that's now a goal ratio of one every 12" for Dortmund  [5 goals]
OK, so that will even out over time, but what a start.
And it was 28 goals in 22 games for Salsburg, so a goal every 52".
      Incredible stats from the lad.

Wonder if Utd are thinking they should've pushed the boat out a bit :)
Though not sure what his demands were.
Dortmund aren't complaining right now anyway, but lets see how he develops..

Donā€™t think United stood a chance to be honest. He had a low buy out clause but probably got told if he goes and smashes it at Dortmund for a year or 2 then someone will then activate his clause again, apparently only around Ā£60mill and then he can go to a bigger club and get a good 200/300k a week. Given who his agent is, it wouldnā€™t surprise me at all.

So Bayern is thrashing Hoffenheim 6-0 and a banner is unfurled in the Bayern end saying something offensive about the Hoffenheim owner. Match is stopped for 10-15 minutes, and now as it is resumed players from both sides instructed to simply knock the ball around in the center circle for the remainder of the match.

Need to go study up on what the issue with the owner is, but there is another match I'm a bit more interested in today.

The offensive banner roughly translates as ā€œHopp is a son of a bi*chā€ and the German billionaire is unpopular with supporters throughout the Bundesliga because of the heavy investment he has made in the Sinsheim club to propel them from the German lower leagues and up to the Bundesliga

Hopefully one of the chasing pack can pip Bayern to the title this year. Not paid much attention to the Budesliga this season but thereā€™s a few teams in with a good shout.

Dortmund are only 4 points back and they have Haaland who was in great form, it will come down to who gets up to speed quickest, aren't Bayern normally slow starters?

They are but tend to come on strong, dortnund's defence is their achilles heal and liepzig lack a bit of composure
