Play like we have in all our outings so far this season and I'm afraid it's lambs to the slaughter.

You promised pass and move football Roy, lets see it and not from Man United.

Actually quite nervous about this one, if Roy is playing not to lose against the likes of Birmingham, I feel he will play damage limitation against the likes of Manure. I am always optimistic when it comes to fixtures against the Mancs and the Blues, I would like to see this formation or at least these players on the pitch: (Pretty much the same as kb2x).

If we play the same XI that we did against Birmingham, we'll lose 6-0.

I'm not overly confident given our recent form, but if we play the team that Racer has suggested (no doubt the team that EVERY fan will want to see), we should be able to win this. That XI would keep the ball far better, taking the pressure off the back four.

Pass and move, that's the Liverpool groove.

I'll be happy with that squad too kb. All a bit too atacking for Roy though, i don't think he's got the bottle. He seems to pick squads by 'damaged limitation' and the hope that we'll score. As Blood said Roys promise of playing football the Liverpool way is not happening at all, we're playing football the Fulham way.

I just feel that carra or skrtel will be there for the taking against united so I opted for the younger legs im afrais aussie.

No worries Shabs they will be our rocks in defence in years to come but for me in such a big game, I'd feel safer with Carra marshalling the troops from the back.

Totally disagree, especially at somewhere like OT the game will be won or lost in centre midfield, if we havent got possession the likes of Scholes will have a field day if we dont play him central.

I do agree with Johnson as a winger and Kelly defending, Cole will be back for this one so I think he should be included instead of Eccleston.

Not that bothered about the size of the game. I would give him time on Thurs to assess him and then if it works throw him in the deep end ahead of Cole. Likewise Pacheco ahead of Jovanovic/Babel. We seem to be locked into a safety first attitude right now.

 No doubt our line up will more likely feature Lucas/Poulson beside Gerrard with Cole/Raul in the hole and Jovanovic/Babel on the left with Maxi on the right, but I would like a shake up of the establishment sooner rather than later

What I hope to see. Just really hope Roy dosen't go with Poulsen and Lucas. One of them is fine but please not both.

Johnson would get ripped apart, I know it is a big game and he is young, but Kelly is stronger and a much better defender. Plus, if Maxi doesn't show up against Birmingham, he is hardly going to trouble Evra whereas Johnson actually would be dangerous - as a right back he won't get the opportunity to attack.  I know we won't see Johnson in midfield, but that is a side to beat Utd right there.
